Beginning the 27th of June, the THURSDAY 8:00 AM WATER AEROBICS and the THURSDAY 5:00 PM AEROBICS are cancelled. My new work schedule unfortunately does not allow enough time for those classes. We will still have the 5:30 Yoga-laties class with JoNell when she is in town. And please join us for some of our other classes. Have a great summer!
Well Summer is upon us and it’s gonna be HOT! Come join us in the pool for a water exercise class at Hidden Creek Estates clubhouse.
Jana’s Jym classes are now sold on a punchcard - 10 classes for $20.00 and 20 classes for $35.00. Cards expire in 6 weeks. Our June boot camp for beginning runners is racing merrily along - we’re having fun running around the City Lake Park pond and learning techniques to increase stamina and endurance as well as stretches to minimize injury risk and soreness.
We’re doing two boot camps in July:
Boot Camp Basics will be Mon-Wed-Fri at 5:30 am at the Hidden Creek Clubhouse - cost is $75 for the month long bootcamp. Repeat Campers take off 20%. Read more on our Boot Camp page.
Barefoot Boot Camp will be Tue-Thu at 5:30 am at the Hidden Creek Clubhouse - cost is $50 and again, repeat campers get 20% off. This is a great way to cross train as well as rediscover the power, strength, and stability in your bare feet! And you’ll sweat! For more information see our Boot Camp page.

Registration deadline June 29th - 10% late fee for registrations after the 29th. Camps start on July 1st (no camp on July 5th or 27th). Camps will run with a minimum of 8 campers each.

Designed to provide stability & balance, shock absorption, and the springboard from which we leap into life - our feet have been cheated and deconditioned and abused. This Boot Camp is a combination of yoga, low impact/high calorie cardio, and pilates. Strengthen your whole body, while reawakening the power of your feet! Tue-Thu in July - Cost is $50.00

What an exciting time for Jana’s Jym! I am sad to have to close the circuit center but excited about the new class locations and boot camps coming up. I’m also looking forward to spending time with some of you on Wellness Coaching and Personal Training. Four Weeks to a Flatter Stomach
This program incorporates meal plans and attitude shifting to help you reach your goals and become healthier for the rest of your life. The exercise sessions alternate between interval training days, power walking and/or running days, and core conditioning and flexibility training. This would meet Monday through Friday early in the morning. 5:30 am. $100.00
Barefoot Yoga BootCamp
This is a barefoot class that includes cardio, strength, flexibility, and core work with willpower and grace. This would meet twice a week in the evenings for four weeks. $50.00
Bad Knees Boot Camp
This Boot Camp is geared towards those in their 40’s, 50’s, & 60’s - a low impact interval training program to increase stamina, strengthen your core, improve bone density, and increase your range of motion. Food Awareness training included. This would meet twice a week in the evenings for four weeks. $50.00

Why make New Year’s Resolutions? It’s not just the fact that another year has passed and here we are still fighting many of the same battles over food, exercise, time management, clutter control, enough sleep, enough quality time with loved ones, and financial struggles… wow - that’s a lot to handle…
It also happens to come right after a season of joy, filled with time celebrating with loved ones - family and friends, shopping for the perfect gifts, baking and cooking the things of tradition that connect us with our pasts; in short, a very busy season for many and often somewhat exhausting. Most of the time we let some things slide during the holidays; things like exercise and healthy food choices, and sleep…
So the New Year really is the perfect time to refocus, re-prioritize, and repair & revitalize our lives. What changes do you WANT to make? What things do you WANT to bring into your life? What things do you WANT less of? And what are you going to DO about it?
For example, I WANT to be less rushed and overwhelmed and I WANT to be more organized. So what do I want to do about it? I’m going to get rid of some of the physical clutter in my home but also some of the time committment clutter on my schedule. Do I WANT to do this? Yes. Am I more likely to do it because I want to as well as need to? Yes!
Schedule a wellness coaching session, take a class, sit in on a Lunch & Learn at the Well Lounge on Main St, go for a walk, sign up for the New Year - New You contest at the Jym, do something good for yourself this year, this week, this day!
